An Online Distillation Module is an optional component of some OI Analytical and Alpkem autoanalyzers. It performs online distillation by separating analytes from the sample matrix to eliminate interfering species. The distillation coils wrap around a spool that mounts into a heater cone, which achieves distillation temperatures up to 180°C. The sample becomes volatile as it passes through the coil.
