• The operator positions samples in the sample tray blanks, reagents, standards and QCs can be pulled from large reagent containers for ease and maximum placement on sampler tray.
• A worklist on the connected external PC is created by the operator. It contains the samples, their location, their ID code, and the parameters required for each sample. Commonly used combinations of methods can be saved as profiles for future ease of use.
• The worklist also includes calibrants and QC that are automatically diluted from a stock solution in the reaction cuvette.
• To start analysis of the worklist or a part of it, the operator must pass a check-and-confirmation protocol, to establish correct analysis conditions.
• Selected methods are confirmed, auto-calibration and control samples are set, and the run time is scheduled.
• Reagent levels and cuvettes in use are displayed and warning notifications given. Wash and waste containers also have level sensors.
